wow, how...umm, useless? However, somehow it dials 9 before dialing an outside line, I don't understand where that is input, I wasn't able to find it anywhere in the dialing string. What I need to do is: Dial a long distance number: 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx pause 1 second dial a three digit long distance access code. Preferably, a way to input the code in the immediate notification field of the subscriber mailbox, so we can charge calls to the agent that won't get a local number. Note: the pause is vital, calls will not go through without it. THANKS.

OBTW, you are awesome! I appreciate your help. This is the 4th callxpress system we bought from this vendor, I'm pretty new at the office, but apparently he'd been really good about tech support before, but seems like he's dropped off the face of the earth.

Chad I set this up on our only 7.50 box . It works fine . It's gonna be a one time PITA because you are going to have to do it on a per mailbox basis . 1. Click on the features tab . Enable long distance . 2. Click on the msg notification tab . enable message notification and adjust your hours of notification . type in you 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx number . Type will equal PIN . Pin number will be your 3 digit code . Wait time for renotification will be 15 min . With the Type=PIN it will wait for tone . It worked on our box .

OBTW: Wow, sure does work, and waits for tone to put in the "PIN #." However all it does after dialing is sends DTMF as if to a pager! Good workaround, but if anybody has any ideas on how to get it to voice notify, please let me know! I'm going to continue trying to convice her to get a local number, meantime.

Hopefully when she gets the bill from 10 callouts per day, at 6 cents each, every day, she may see the light We are right across the state line from Louisiana, and I probably make more LD calls to LA cellphones to people living locally (after hurricane Katrina) than anywhere else. It's when our own employees have them...
