I have a Samsung Prostar 12/24 with a Starmail voicemail system (2 channel). I only have the technical manual and not user programming guide. It is currently setup so that when no one answers the phone and forwards to VM, you hear the main greeting but then forwards to VM box for ext 202. There is 1-2 second delay between the main greeting and the mailbox recording prompt (beep).
Anybody have any suggestions on how to get this to work more efficently such as either have the delay shortened or have the call come in and go directly to user VM box 202 rather than the Main Greeting?

Try recording "you have reached our general delivery mail box" in 202.
The mail is designed to have someone select were they want to go and if now response then to a box or ring back to the operator.
shortening the delay "wait for dtmf" way have un known side affects.

How do I get all calls coming in to go to mailbox 202 greeting rather than the main greeting without a delay? I can not seem to figure that out from the documentation I have.

On the 1224, funtion (MMC 904) what is the overflow under calltype is set for? To go directly to a mailbox it should have a #.
