I mostly do Data Communications and some VOIP support but occassionally get called on to support other Telecom needs so I appreciate any help or guidance delivered.

My client has a Toshiba Strata DK40 Phone System to which they have an AVT Phone Express Entree Voice Mail System Version 4.03b

Is there a way in which you can add new voice mail extensions via the telephone hand set key pad.

I have accidentally discoved how to retrieve messages and how to leave a new outgoing message for an existing box or even for the system itself but I can't figure out how to add a new voicemail box.

Is the only way to do this via the PC Terminal. They are running this system off an ancient OS2 operating system.

I know there is a modem attached to the pc, once I find out what number etc the modem is attached to would it be possible to dial in and update the voice mail remotely.

I have found a very short user Quick Reference Pages online but no real meat and potatoes type of instruction manual.

How does one find out what the code or codes are to access the voice mail system from the telephone keypad.

Thanks for your assistance.

it is probably gonna be x-18-21 , or 850 , depending on how the phone system was set up.If they have any display phones look in the display and you should see something like (CF-BN 200-850)
Where 850 is in my example that will be the number you can dial to access voicemail.

I have now been able to look at the PC which is running the OS2 Version of AVT Phone Express Entree Version 4.03b.

Below is a link to the screens I have been able to access ( px1-s.jpg to px3-s.jpg ) and one of the screens I would like to access ( px4-s.jpg )
https://www.datalogistix.net/voicemail/pxentree.htm

I have located a PhoneXpress Entree Version 4.0 System Administrators Guide which says I am suppose to be able to use Function Keys F5 and F6 but I can't get them to do anything.

I am trying to add new mailboxes as indicated in Chapter 3 of the Manual Creating Basic Applications - Creating a Subscriber Mailbox - Manual Page 3-3 (PDF Manual Page 35 )
https://www.datalogistix.net/voicemail/AdminGuide.pdf

I can get the mailbox screen to appear as in my posted image 3 ( px3-s.jpg ) but no matter what mailbox number I enter I am told it either is invalid or does not exist. Even known mailboxes.

How does one access their admin menus?
