Does anyone know how to ingerate a Active Voice Repartee 4.0 OS2 system with a Mitel SX 200 ICP phone system. Our customer needs a new phone system, but wants to keep his voicemail unit.
Thanks

What kind of system do you have right now? and what integration you are using: Digital or Analog? Mitel can be integrated with any Voice mail system but you need to know how. Digital integration is simple, Analog reqires Abreviated Dialing.

This is an Analog System, Here is how the current system is working. When a call comes in the auto attendant answers, then the caller enters an extension number, then the voice mail is parking the caller in a programmed location then it does a page thru the paging system. The extension owner then goes to a phone an retreives the call. The park locations is the same as their extension number plus one digit.

Still not sure if you are using analog or digital"integration" with the PBX. It sounds as though the voice mail system is just dialing the codes into the PBX that park the call. What happens if they don't pick up the call? Does it eventually go to the mailbox of the user? What kind of phone system do they currently have?

One of the standard, 'it's in there like Prego' integrations in the Repartee's I installed was for SS4 ports. Does the 200ICP support SS4 for VM? If so, and it probably does, then you should be home free, if you have, or can get, the password, software, and install manual. Oh yeah, AND THE SS4 INTERFACE CARD! Dane, any idea about SS4/VM support in the ICP200? John C. (Not Garand)

200ICP supports 400 and 4000 series supersets. Not sure how old the Repartee is so it may show SX00 light or EL integration as a choice in which case the integration will be of the 400 or 4000 series support. Normal 200ICP will probably have 4000 series support enabled so it may work, but I think that the interface (if it is there) for Mitel would be of the SS400 series variety and therefore would need to have that purchased/enabled in the 200ICP. Would be worth checking with active voice to verify.

Sounds to me like you've got analog integration! That'll work just fine on the SX200ICP, using the speed dial bins, and ONS integrations. Let me know if you need any other help!!
