I have a Octel 250 that sits offsite and works great with Mitels and Harris PBX's. My problem is I have a Avaya G3R and I cant get the calls to forward to the phones mailbox, I keep getting the "open trees". Please help thanks

I'm a little confused. Are all the PBX's off site? And if so how are they getting connected to to Octel 250?

All of the PBX's are off site but this is the first Avaya, I do have the calls from the Avaya forwarding to the Octel but the intergration is wrong.I need all of the calls to forward to the phones mailbox. What happens now is the call forwards and you hear "If you have a mailbox on this system please press # key"

How are you forwarding these calls to the Octel? Every third party voice mail I ever worked with required a specific Avaya/Nortel integration to read the display info and forward to appropriate box. These could done via Dialogic custom boards or Calista PBX integration boxes. I don't know anyway around it unless you can forward an Avaya extension to a different DID number for each extension.

Mike..it appears there is no integration between the Avaya and the Octel..what type of trunking is between the two? One thing you may try is put the extension number of the station in the name field on the G3r and see what happens just for grins..
