Comdial DXP+.....Keyvoice Corp.
We have a handful of stations where we would not like the caller to be able to leave a message. They cannot have a DID because we do not want callers to call the stations directly so we are using the AA. The stations have to have a mailbox for the transfers to work. What would be ideal is if the call could ring the station X number of times and then be transferred to a live person (or someone that might actually check the messages).
Thanks for the help.

A messy work around would be to manipulate the trans.txt file so the call returning to voicemail would then turn around and transfer to another station.
A better way would be to use Station Hunting, which is not subject to the regular Transfer Recall timer.

I think I'll will play around with the station hunting. I don't know much about the trans.txt file and don't want to get lost trying to figure something out. Also I don't want this to affect all stations, just a handful. Hunt group sounds like the way to go.
Thanks Justin.
