I would like to find a 3rd party voicemail system that can email wav files. I know the Pansonic TVA50 does, but can you configure it to work on anaolog ports with a Toshiba, namely, the 424i?
thanks again,

This is probably more of a voicemail question than a Toshiba so it's getting moved to the voicemail forum where you'll have a better chance of finding someone who may know.

Yes, you simply set up the TVA for inband. Use analog ports off the Toshiba. I'm sure it would take some tweeking on both sides for MWL, follow on ID and the IRNA for the A/A -------------------- MrG

Remember you lose the features that are marked DPITS or APITS.

The one thing I might add is that the Toshiba sends a D tone for disconnect. Not sure if the TVA can be told that or not.

I know that most of Panasonic's voice mail systems do support "D", some actually by default. That is actually how I learned about "D" anyway. Under analog integration, there are plenty of options available on their systems.

I thought that by default the Pana vm systems use #9 or something like that for disconnect.

Been awhile but can you not change the 424 signal? I used ton put a lot of Amanda Work-group on Toshiba. They needed #9# or such to disc.

On the 424i the disconnect tone is a d tone and is not changeable. The Amandas recognized the d tone when integrated with a Toshiba.
