Lots of Downsizing in this economy.

We try and help the clients so they stay with us when it all comes back, somday.

Currently client has Premier 1224/2460 and a TVS100.

I don't normally due Program work on either of these, Old company unavailable.

I am moving his suite and installing a DCS-C and reconnecting the TVS voicemail.
Since they don't have Inband Signalling now, I "can" just install it as is. They have to enter EXT and Password now. Tested it and it works fine.

Samsung is beautifully easy to integrate, but I am clueless to change the TVS. Or find what to match. Short of going indepth with the TVS....all I would really need is the MWG codes IN the TVS so I could set the DCS-C to match.

Anyone? Default MSG-on & off codes on TVS?

Currently the TVS is 4 Port, I am going to connect 2 ports of a 204 SLI card. Does the TVS likely use port 4 or 3&4 for "notification" ?

I may need to access the TVS after all.
Will this work:

Get the manual for the Panasonic TVS-100. I'm sure it will say something about inband signaling.

Really, if it is 4 ports why cut it down to 2?

Page 6.38 in the manual.
In terminal programming I think it's Programe, System, other, PBX interface.

You can plug in all the Samsung codes.

Default MW is:
On = T700x
Off = T701x

Ringback tone = 1
Busy Tone = 2
Reorder Tone = 3
DND = 4
Answer = 5
FWD to Voice Mail (ringing) 6
FWD to Voice Mail (Busy) = 7
FWD to ext (
= 8
Confirmation Tone = 9
Disconnect = #9

Plug up an old Hayes Accura Modem if you want remote.

THANKS, this helped.

I posted the same in Intertel and came back here to see if I got any hits.

BROKEDA, thanks !!
I have that manual (shows T701 & T702)
didn't show a default value.

I guess it really is a Intertel question, or I better "learn" the TVS. It is SO old and dirty
I fear to much resetting and defaulting etc.
My friend Murphy sez if it can it will....go wrong smile

johnp..... mo money mo money mo money
Samsung's are infinetly programmable and configured, allowing us to dial in the exact need WITH expansion. Often to make the sale you have to have a real sharp pencil.
When they grow I can add ports and open up VM ports. revenue stream?
