OK a weird issue, we had a tech replac a Telcol VM with a 2000 Interchange(Key Voice)and it had some clock issues and was hanging up in the middle of messages being left on peoples mailboxes, and mailboxes randomly get suspended when no one is checking messages and the system is not AA for someone trying to get into their MailBoxes. So, we replaced the VM with a XP Ver 12 Interchange( Vertical) and the same simular issues except the clock issue, I have turned on trace to see what the Toshiba is sending as far as VMID codes, they have about 100 phones and naturally the VMID codes had to be changed from Telcol to Key Voice VMID Codes, I have a feeling someone did not change their code correctley and is sending the wrong series of digits to the VM when call is being answered or transfered by someone. The trace should reflect this because they said it happens daily. Now as far as the calls hanging up in the middle of a Message, The T1 on the Toshiba seems ok No calls are being dropped on a normal call from a phone. The VM drops the call almost imediatley or about 4 seconds into the message. I know that in a Comdial scenario there was a setting in one of the cfg files and Tech support called it "white noise" basically for "Silence", I have a feeling that this may be it as far as the calls hanging up. Can some refresh me where it is or shoot me a PM Thanks. Customer is hot and Im the new tech on site and I turned on a trace. Thanks
I am the Big Ham and I approve this message.
