I am working on an Electra Elite Pro2 with Corporate Office VM on it. The problem currently is as follows: The phone system is normally in night mode during the day and calls ring to AA. They can take system out of night and calls ring to receptionist. The problem is that when calls are answered by the AA, the VM will route the call to the correct location/extension however it will not ultimately roll to their voicemail box, it kicks the caller back to the main greeting. Example: Routing box 800 answers the caller, caller enters in x622. Call routes to the extension, but then after set amount of ring time, it comes back to 800. This system has been in place for a long time and everything was working correctly until two days ago when they called this in. I do not know the NEC system at all, but think my trouble may be in the trans.txt?? Any ideas? I am proficient in the Keyvoice.

It was the trans.txt file that needed modifying to get the VM to transfer to mailboxes.

Why would that have changed? If it was working then stopped working, what happened? Someone in there messing with it? Did someone re-run first time setup?
