When called from outside line or when calling from intercom, the VM will not answer. It will answer after a reboot and work for awhile, then after some time it quits and need to reboot to get it to work again. Whenever it quits working I notice the 4th (last) port is lit up solid.

Also, I just made a change to the ringing for these guys, thats when this problem started. It was programmed to ring ext. 10 then after 4 rings it would go to VM to the main greeting. They wanted to get rid of the 4 rings and just ring the AA, answers after 1 ring. So I took off all CO's ringing at ext. 10 and programmed all CO's to now ring the first port of VM,which is programmed to answer after 1 ring. Like I said, it works fine for awhile, then just quits answering ... Did I do something wrong to cause this, or does it sound like the VM is going bad. Kind of a coincidence it just started not answering after I made the program change. Any thoughts/ideas would be appreciated...

You should redirect the CO's to the pilot number of the vm hunt group, not the first vm port. I think what may be happening is that when you direct to the first port, that forwards to port two, two to three, three to four and then stops there locking up that port.

Would that only occur if they had 4 calls in the VM?

Also, could the VM pilot be 850? If so, how would I program ringing to that ext (850) from prog. 81? What "port" would 850 be on? As you know, when programming ringing, you enter a port # instead of the ext.#?
