useful for what..didn't see any technical information and a forum thats coming soon. That site states: :We offer the best High-Speed Internet access rates on DSL Service", Mitchthephoneman said: NO CLEC'S.......NO CLEC'S........NO CLEC'S....... Definition of CLEC Pronounced see-lek. Short for competitive local exchange carrier. which is what bandwith1, shopfordsl.com/cogid=8600, shopfort3.com/cogid=8600, shopforframerelay.com/cogid=8600, shopforpointtopoint.com/?cogid=8600, The sites are affiliates reselling service...probably Cognigen...these are the folks who have developed from calling you during dinner time wanting you to change your LD service to bombarding the internet with bunches of web sites all selling the same product...In my opinion these kinda sites hurt the internet...kinda clog it up with useless information. SS is correct in the one post and it happens to be you advertising, most all boards consider it SPAM, as we do here. Enough said. welcome to the board.

www.xo.com They are really big. Located all over the country and they own their own network. Its owned by one of the forbes richest billionaires in the world so it has a lot of money behind it. Much better technology then AT&T, must better customer service. Used by Microsoft, hospitals, etc. You can save like 70% from your phone bill with them. Many local phone installers are paid off by BellSouth and AT&T to give them business and to trash CLECS.

 That's a good one! They use ATT (SBC)technology...they ride it like a kid on a pony. The new regs are going to change that though. IMHO they're great if you don't mind staying up until 5:00am for an afternoon cutover. Didn't Enron have some of Forbes rich and famous working in the upper echilon????
No offense but around here I see their boxes getting pulled everyday quite simply because of poor service.

I agree with you about XO; we use them here in our office and refer them to potential customers looking for a CLEC. We obviously work with all LEC's and CLEC's around here and have had better success with XO than anyone else. They do seem to be growing pretty fast since they took over Allegiance's account base, so it's not quite as easy to deal with them as it used to be.
I like the way their policy attaches the sales rep to the account permanently, so the customer can call them anytime and get issues resolved. The only thing (and I mean ONLY) thing I don't like is that their territory is pretty much limited to the metropolitan areas of NFL cities in general. We have tried to get them to take over some LEC accounts for us in remote areas and they weren't able to help. In their defense, though, no other CLEC would go there either.

Ok, it has been three years since the original post. But, let's technically and professionally address the question. How do you break out 25 channels of voice and data on a csdsu?
Thank you,
