You can get an integrated T-1, ours start from 6 lines all the way up to 24 lines and then there is internet on there as well. We give unlimited local calling and bundled LD minutes with these as well. These have been a very popular product if you want to go that way!

Consider the banwidth using a fractional T. If you use 12 analog lines you have 760k left for data. Every time you add another analog line you will lose 64k. You need to know the bandwidth of the dsl ckt you are replacing or end up explaining why the internet is so slow now.

We have the dynamic allocation factor on ours. You get a CIR but when all or some of your voice lines are not being used, the system recognizes that and utilizes those spare channels for internet, giving you a burstability factor of double the bandwidth.

I would just remember to keep some old POTS lines as back up. So many times the customer goes with a T-1 and puts everything on it. When the T-1 goes down you have do service.

From a telco repair stand point commit times for repair are much quicker for t1's the norm is about 4 hours (at least on paper) compared to 24/48 hours for pots. I do agree to keep a few pots lines around for those times the t1 goes down.
I Swear I did not touch anything

Bunnie, or anyone else that can explain: "A T-1 could be cost effective if you had six lines with outcalling salespeople on the phone all day or not cost effective if you had a dozen lines and almost no outgoing traffic."
We're looking at going with a PRI, have tons of outgoing calls, but lots of inbound too, probably 70% in and 30% out. We're a getting larger by the day real estate office, and could also really use DIDs, etc.
Thanks
