I remember having problems with the old 2-line turnkey sets on JKT (cross talk).
I don't know if I'd trust JKT with anything serious. Can you run some tests in your own facility with whatever system you're proposing on wire similar to what the customer has?
I'd be most concerned if the runs were long and/or were bundled together for long stretches.
Maybe it's me, but I worry about newer equipment on older wire that I'm sure it was never tested with.

It will not bother the Vodavi digital phones. I have one installed on Coax (don't ask) and I know of one customer of a dealer in Idaho that is running a phone 2000 feet on a barbedwire fence. Works great until it rains. I have them on ships running on one pair electrical wire (insulated, stranded, no twist) with no problems for over ten years.

Funny that you mentioned the COAX, Derrick. I installed a Panasonic digital system in a new home about 12 years ago where the homeowner insisted that his electrician had provided all of the wiring, for both voice and "Internet". This electrician "had excellent references".
Oh, he wired it alright: One loop of JK through 17 outlets (dead-ended, of course). I guess that the extra few feet to complete the loop was cost-prohibitive.
What was truly fun was his "Internet" wiring. You guessed it; home runs of RG59 since they were using CATV for their Internet access.
We managed to run all 12 digital stations using the RG59 until Sparkie could come in and fish the proper wiring in (long-after the walls were closed and finished). He had a bad case of the ass with me because I sold them some 'newfangled' phones instead of 'regular ones' like everybody else uses.
Yeah OK. It was my fault that he didn't know which end of a light bulb goes in the socket.
In the end, there were two runs that simply couldn't be replaced, so to this day, the phones are operating just fine on the RG59 cables. It isn't pretty, but it works.

I'm assuming that "LOL" means that Jeff's comment was meant to be humorous in nature. I absolutely despise "LOL" in any written communication, but the texting crowd has pretty much invented the acronym. The rest of the world is expected to understand that it means 'Laugh Out Loud'.
That being said, I would assume that Jeff's question was not serious. At least I hope so.
