Hi Room,
My company just upgraded the ISP service, and ISP vendor installed T1 in the house. After then our PBX system can not display Caller ID. I was told By ISP vendor that T1 line(CAS trunks) currently doesn't support inboud caller ID feature.
Do you think we can ask them re-configure new T1 line to PRI with no charge because the previous service was PRI.
Thanks!

Only if you got it in writing or they are feeling helpful that day. Most carriers charge extra to deliver PRI instead of RBS.
You'll just have to call 'em and ask.

It also is largely dependent upon your phone system. Last time that I checked, only AT&T (long distance) was able to provide CID (actually ANI) on T1 trunks. A PRI actually is delivered to the premises via a T1 circuit, but it uses an entirely different signaling protocol.

I've received caller ID on a T1 from TelePacific connecting to a Panasonic TDA200.
As for the question of whether the carrier can reconfigure a T1 as a PRI, I don't see why they can't do it. But I'll guarantee they will insist on delivering a separate circuit.

If previous service was a PRI they supposed to upgrade you to the same protocol and circuite that you had befour. If they change T1 Protocol based on their deccision then they have to change it back with no charge.

Your carrier "should" be able to send you caller id via ANI on a TDM or E&M T1. I am pretty sure that we did that at the last company I worked for. It wasn't as easy to setup as a PRI but it worked.
Also, if you are getting a T1 handoff that's analog, switching it to a PRI is not really that hard to do. You just have to swap to a digital card in the PBX and coordinate such with the telco so they can swith you over to ISDN signaling.
A T1 is a T1. Can be data, voice, pri, E&M, etc. It's all how it's configured on the A and Z ends.

Majestic is correct. You don't need a PRI to receive ANI or DNIS. The carrier just needs to pulse it inband (eg. CAS), and your switch needs configured to accept it that way.
