Okay, here I go again with a t-1 throwing errors and Telco says the errors are coning from my PBX. I know they are not but have to prove it out again before they will get off their duffs. The last time it was a Time Warner circuit (Frontier provides the local facilities) and that guy had a small monitor. We were able to plug it in in-line and go back after a day and see the erros recorded and the direction they were coming from (telco side). This was the only way to get them to look at what was just a bad fiber card and problem resolved. I can't find the info on that tester that I wrote down and have two circuits doing intermittent outages. Anyone know/recommend a tester that can do this? I have work ready to purchase one for me to isolate these issues faster. Any help appreciated!!!

I always liked Sunrise Telecom Sunsets. You only pay for the options you need and you can hook a printer to them and get hard copy results. They are a little pricey though. IMHO worth it though.
You may be able to rent one of them (or a T-Berd) for a day or three and that may be more cost effective.

He may have had a comm-watch I know we use these rather often and they work well
