On another forum a tech had an issue with Alarm 75's coming up. We have the same issue when the customer is a Bell customer which uses the 5ESS switch. Voice calls rarely will drop. A tech responded that the issue was maintenance messages that can be disabled at the switch. Is there a term for this that I can tell the carrier so we can get these turned off?

From what I remember in the 5ESS messages can be enabled and disabled by message class. The Output manual will give you the message class. You can block the messages entirely or you can allow them to print at some terminals and not at others. I doubt if Bell will turn the message off. Remember that this message will print for all customers served in the switch and not just your customer. There are recommendations as to what message classes should print and what message classes should log.
