Hi guys, I've had this problem with several PRI providers, where the ANI digits do not transfer to any phone call forwarded off site. They always say it can't be done and then fix the problem. How do I ask for this fix so they know what I need? Thanks

It varies of course from switch type to switch type. However most commonly the only way it can be done is to disable cpn screening allowing the lec to use whatever you send them.
Problem is there are some legal issues with that thanks to ebil telemarketers and bill collectors. Basically due to them using pri's to spoof caller id years ago screening has become the law of the land.
So different providers are going to handle it different. Many will make the change as long as you sign some waivers assuming responsibilty for invalid caller id.
Again though , there are some switches that can have options sets to handle fowarded cid the scenario I mentioned just tends to be the most common
