I love it, they have no money yet want everything joined together. How much can it possibly cost to keep things the way they are or..omg get some centrex in there? The cost of everything that was suggested...for really nothing is kinda funny.

So how hard is it to trench to the street, drill under it, then trench to the other end and lay down the interduct! Put in the fiber, with a pullstring as you go, please! Best bet IMO. But the cost will not be recovered for several years if they're only paying $800/month for what they have now. And who owns the phone systems? Why are they making it sooo complicated!

So why not logon and point the OP to this forum? Looks like the guy posting this doesn't know where to turn to for advice. Come on, this is an opportunity to show the knowledge that's available here. Who knows, maybe there's a future customer for one of the installers on this board.

I wouldn't even consider those guys "IT"...the solution with the Cat 6 has to be post of the day!  Posts like that make me feel embarrassed to be grouped in with those loons!
