What would be better, a $200.00 Netgear router or use the Cisco 2600 IAD/Router provided by C Beyond. Same question with 7 locations and VPN thrown in.

Knee-Jerk Response: Use the Cisco since it's free and you can make it C-Beyond's problem to manage it and make it work right. You can certainly use the netgear but I am guessing it will have problems with high VPN traffic.
Proper Response: I would personally need to know more information to make a good recommendation. These 7 locations, how many users at each end and in total? Will you be doing VoIP across the VPN? Do you need to frequently send large amounts of traffic or files through the VPN? How much bandwidth are you getting?
