[/b]If you have a router connected that stays on all the time you will find it almost never changes.... and since it is your system it is easy enough to reprogram on the rare occasion that it happens.

You can get a static IP. You will probably need to switch from a residential account to a commercial account though. Usually it's about $30-$40/month more. I just ordered a static IP from Comcast yesterday.
