I am looking for a sample maintenance contract to provide to some of my customers. Any ideas where to view some?
Thanks

I for one never liked maintenance contracts as they are very unfair to the cust.I really don't know were you could get one. For your info I've had many companies switch from the venders who put them on a contract because of the monthly fee when no work is done. Just a little advice to help ya with your contracts.I'm sure some one in this group should be able to e-mail you a sample, just be sure that your cust. is happy with it.

PhoneGuy I too have run into the same thing, Customers who changed because of that issue. I started telling potential customers that maintenance contract were a waste of money and got them because of it, it made me look very honest. Then again there are some who will only go with a maintenance contract. For them go ahead and have em bend over. ![[Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]](https://www.sundance-communications.com/forum/biggrin.gif) But anyway I don't have one either, maybe someone will stop by that can help. Good luck.

Send me your email address, and i will send you a sample copy of ours. For the most part, I agree with the other replys, but i have had some customers insist on one. You can look good one both ends by offering an agreement that is fair to both parties. You can usually beat the big guys, i.e. Avaya, Nortel, Expanets, by 30-50% and still come out good.

I wholeheartedly agree with the other replys. I also tell my customers that they are a waste of money. But if you want to see a sample I will be plad to email you an attachment of mine. Some customers want to see them.

I have several municipal & college campus clients that require a contract to shift liability to the service company for outages. For the most part, we charge $2-5 per phone per year for outright failures (non-abuse or wear & tear) plus $3-12 per port in the switch for system outage guarantees of 4 hour response times. They have always made us money, the customer has always been happy, but we don't sell them, only have them available when asked.
