Can anyone tell me how to program a voice mail transfer button on a DXP system using Impact 8024 phones? I programmed an unused button as a DSTAT button using VMMI, then went to the phone and cranked through all of the optionds until I found DSS...But, when I selected DSS from the LCD, the LCD changed to "LOCATION" when I press the programmable DSS button, the LED for the button above the DSS button turned on. Any hints?

Can you use the VMMI programming for this feature? Whatever phone you are using, the VMMI programming recognizes the type of phone. Go to button mapping and program the button you want by selecting it as the XVM01 button. Somewhere along the way, Comdial stopped some of the button mapping by the LCD display. You have to use VMMI. With DSU's and DSUII's, you can program them with the Intercom **1 feature. If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me.

DXP's always have to button map throught VMMI or terminal emulation (hyperterminal, PCAW ect...) with XVM01 as the feature designation for a voicemail transfer button.
