Can anyone give me additional info on Caller ID for a DSU. I have been told I need a CID-08 unit. Status of software level required was not known. Any input and past experiences would be appreciated.

I have a CID-08, the older beige unit, connected to my DSU and I'm running 16A Impact SW. It works fine!

I assume you are talking about the DSU and not the DSU II. The software level of the DSU will make a difference if the CID08 unit will function. You also need some programming on the stations that are to receive the caller id data. By the way, on the older DSU you need to come off the 66 block with the serial ports in order to connect into the CID08. Let me know if you need more info via an email and I will dig out the data sheets if you ned them.
