Hello All:
I am thinking about switching/adding VoIP cards in my COMDIAL FX-II system. We may try the VoIP trunk-to-trunk and/or add a VoIP station cards for some remote users.

Does anyone have any opinions, comments, or experiences - good or bad?

I am looking seriously at the 'Tele-worker' scenario with Cable or DSL high-speed internet from remote locations.

Before I buy, I just wanted to get some kind of feedback from all you.

Thanks all.

When I talk to my regional sales rep, my call goes to Florida then bounces back to an Iprimo phone in Oklahoma. Sounds like he's next door.

VoIP is a great solution as long is it is implemented correctly. The benefits are hugh for the right applications. Small branch offices and telecommuters is a great place to start with the FXII.

I have done several IP install on the comdial fxII and, as said before, as long as the implementation is done correctly, you are going to have top notch ip phones with the comdial. It is very helpful to work with a knowledgeable MIS guy who works for the customer when implementing this. Comdial has soon to release the FXIII which will have lots of great updates for the IP. It will be probably available for January 0f 2004.
