Hi All,
I lurk here frequently, but its my first time to post.
I have an executech 0616X and the manual talks about defaulting lines to CO or PABX or Auxiliary. What do each of these three options mean to me. I think I understand that CO is the Normal line provided by the phone company, but what is the behavior of the other two types?

A PABX is (I believe) where you have to dial a 9 to get out. (It's when you put the Comdial behind a PABX and Auxiliary is when you use the line for something other than dial tone, like a door box etc. I think that what they mean...if not I'll be corrected. and the CO you got right. ![[Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]](https://www.sundance-communications.com/forum/smile.gif)

test got it right, the aux setting makes it so the line or whatever you put there like a paging system or door box, can't be put on hold.
