Can anyone recommend a good paging system (amp and speakers)( no bells and whistles) to interface with Port 23 of a Comdial 0612 System? The paging system will be used in a mechanical shop consisting of approxiametly 8000 square feet. Also is a a 600 ohm to 600 ohm audio transformer required external to the paging amp for audio input?

0612? Are you speaking of a 0616 or 0616X. Any way Viking makes very good paging equipment.

Valcom also has a good Paging system. Send them a floor plan and they will help you design it.
Or if you want a 70 volt system. I usually go with Bogen speakers and a Bogen amp. Keep in mind on the amp size needs to be able to push the line requirments for all the speakers.
Also dont over look if you want multible zones. This needs to be done with the cabling.
