I know this, the hookswitch does not work on the comdial phones to generate a momentary disconnect. If it works at all it's a fluke. the reed switch is too slow for the CO almost always. mark

Mark you are right on! The Comdial hook-switch is set up for positive disconnect and is intentional. I just had to test it to make sure. Some ist telephones are set-up that way as well.

I'll play around with the flash settings this afternoon. The site is about 160 miles from me so I'm having to change everything remotely and then call the user and test. She's kind of busy this time of the month so it's getting hard to catch her. I told you wrong on the CO's flash time. I was told that it was 875ms by a co-worker who's an old hand at this telecom stuff. Thanks again all.
