I am installing a DXP with Rev.17B and can only access the Admin portion of the system with ***** can anyone tell me what the installers password is.

That is the default for installer and admin and gives you installer unless it has been changed.

The pw is correct. Are you using VMMI ?

If you are using vmmi make sure you are set to installer not admin.
If you are set to installer and it will not let you in, it sounds like the system installer password has been changed.
If that is the case, if you have a modem into it. I can reset it for a small remote fee.

Just reread your post. You need VMMI to program. If you are using ProComm or hyper term. to program you will only get to view what is in there. 4 options when you put in the password.
VMMI is a Windows based software Proprietary to the comdial products.This is what is used to program the system.
You may be able to get a copy of it off the BBS at the comdial web site.

I see you are a phone company in Nevada, have you tried the Comdial web site as suggested. If not you can get with tel-programmer and purchase it .
