Hey guys, new setup & when I dial out to a business with an auto attendant, it repeats itself, almost as if I am dialing out on 2 lines. Also, I cannot seem to disable the account code feature.

New setup? Is this used equipment that you are installing in a new location? If it was powered down for any lenght of time it will need to be master cleared befor you program it. Have you dial out on the lines in front of the KSU and have the same promlem with the distant auto Atten?

You definitely need to initialize the system to clear out whatever was there before. ------------------ Comdial Telephone Repair Toshiba Telephone Repair [This message has been edited by paul144 (edited November 18, 2004).]

Actually, it is our "old" system being brought up in a different building. I did master clear it. I just don't know if I do not have something prog wrong. Why won't it let me disble the account code function?

BH: "it repeats itself, almost as if I am dialing out on 2 lines." Maybe your are. Check your CO line connections on your block. I have tri-focals and really check my punch-downs & pins. If I don't, I get what you're getting when I check the line. Good Luck.

Account code is not part of service provider, & thanks I will double check my punch downs, BUT I only have 1 line coming over the T1, into the Integrator.

If the master clear was successful then account codes should not be a problem since they are not defalted to be active. Mark makes a go point about the provider having account codes. Have you dialed out in front of the KSU to see if you have either of these problems occur then? Please let us know

since an e60 does not support t-1 you must have the dial tone broken out of the t ahead of the e60, & you say that you only have one line broken out. Therefore, the dual auto attendant you hear is an echo from the t being out of sync or in some other trouble. You can't dial out on 2 lines if you only have one. Or did I miss something here? If the system is defaulted, the account code is from your t provider. mark

The T is currently configured for 1 line. I have the Integrator (Vina), configured for more, but I am going back to the site today, to delete other channels. My current hardware config is, I'm coming off the integrator with a 66 block, then on other side of block, I'm punched down tip ring, tip ring, then into a 4 cond connector which plugs into the E60. I'm not following what you mean by breaking out the dial tone ahead of the E60. We had this running before on a T1.
