HI! I'm trying desperately to help someone over the phone that has a Comdial DX-80 system. We're trying to install a "hold music" player.
I have been walking her through the steps to install the player. The problem is she cannot locate the miniplug that has been indicated as the required plug-in option.
I have searched the internet for hours trying to find a "REAL" manual on how to simply plug a music player to this device. Can someone tell me where, specifically, the mini plug is? If you can provice a picture, or even a drawing, this would help greatly. I wish I could simply drive 1000 miles and plug it in myself, but I have to rely on our telephone communication.
Thanks!

The miniplug is located inside the unit. You have to remove the cover and it plugs into the CPU card. It would be the second plug from the right if you are looking directly at it. The CPU card will be on the right in the system. If you have voicemail it will be directly underneath the voicemail card. Hope this helps.
