I added 2 new phones to my existing system and neither one will ring when the main number is dialed they only flash. Also to answer the flashing line I have to push the line button as opposed to just picking up the handset. How do I correct this?

You have to access system programming and program those station ports to ring and program them for ringing line prference.
This is installer level programming and is password protected.

markk-

My church has a Unisyn TS-616 and we are trying to set-up additional phone lines and other features into the system. The installer is no longer available in the area. I am wondering if there is a back-door password that would be available.

Thanks in advance.

lost:

You still haven't filled out your e-mail address. Hate to be a stickler, but all this slows down the process. There are a lot of busy techs that might see your thread here, but not reply because they only have time to e-mail you a document--and no time to type out a long answer. Give yourself a break and get yourself an e-mail address---I know you have a computer--right?? [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]

I'm real sorry. I did put my email address in, but I forgot to make it visible. I have changed that and it is now visible.

Thanks.

They are close to me, and I like to help out any non profit program when I can, I'm realllly busy right now (see the time of this post?.)And I don't know much about the Unisyn cause I never sold one, but I'm certain I can get whatever they need working if they can wait for me to have time in the schedule. Email me if you want, I'm in the Exton area nearly every day, and that's not far from you. I am backed up to the middle of September, but I'll do what I can.

By the way, I think there is only one standard password for programming the smaller Comdial systems, I could be wrong, cause I'm ot that familiar with the Unisyn. Anyway, I'm not able to share Installer passwords for programming, too many bad things can happen. Mark

Actually there is two passwords that work on the Unisyn. The standard COS password for access to all programming and there is a Admin password that lets you program all system feature except line settings and master clear.
