How do you get the system to put a call on hold and then be able to transfer it to another station. I try to answer the call and when i press trans/conf nothing happens, call does not go on hold and the only way i get the thing on hold is to press hold , its like the trans/conf key is dead, all phones seem the same. is there a program setting in the terminal menu to change that ?

to trans. hit the Itcm key then dial the extention you want to transfer it to and hang up. That phone will start ringing.

you have to transfer a live call, it will ring in on ITCM but line light will go steady lit when answered. Transfering this way will use up an intercom path. Depending on traffic and what you are trying to accomplish, it may not be the best method of transfering calls. mark
