I'm just wondering if anyone has looked at Adtran for a possible solution that's similar to Cisco's VPN Concentrator. The Concentrator is one of Comdial's supported options for deploying their SIP products, but, as with all Cisco products, the Concentrator is pretty pricey. Since Adtran makes similar products as Cisco, I'm just wondering if anyone has found whether or not they have something comparable. If so, any idea whether Comdial is going to test it out and add to their list?

I talked to another dealer in Cali. Friday who was looking into the Adtran offerings. He gave me some model numbers to research but I have them at the office. I am looking at several alternatives to the Crisco platform. Let you know.

Actually, just like my other recent post about the voicemail, I figured it was more Comdial-specific. Do other solutions require a VPN?

I have not used, nor any experience with, but I have heard good things about Check Point. A quick search on the Internet looked as though they are considerably cheaper than Cisco.

Can't answer your question directly concerning an Adtran alternative to the Cisco concentrator but I can tell you from a hands on class I just attended that the Adtran product quality is better the Crisco & pricing is about 1/2. Tech support is free for life of product--NO Crisco support contracts! Call Bill Wisegarber about getting your channel partner agreement set up. 804-748-5142

Agree 110%, Adtran has wonerful offerring and outstanding quality (5 year warranty). Just don't know what they have for VPN "concentration".
Look at the NetVanta 3200, 3205 to see thier offerings. Also see thier switch/routers.

Here's one that someone from our company just got back from a seminar on. Perhaps you have heard of mutitech? They have VPN appliances that support up to 250 clients. check this link. https://www.multitech.com/PRODUCTS/Families/RouteFinder/
Let me know if it works out.
