There are a total of 3 IST's on the expansion cabinet. 2 that have been there for 9 months and 1 we added last week.

ok, if the PRI card does not fix the problem.

What you need to do is move the IST cards to the main cabinet. I would do it one at a time to see if the problem goes away.

I had this issue several times. everything can be running fine and you add a ist card or convert them to pri and you take on slips.

There is an issue with IST cards in the ribbon cabinet on the older cabinets.

The newer MP5 cabinets I am told does not have this issue and you want to use the mp5 ribbon cards that come with the mp5 cabinets. I was also told these would fix the issue on the ist expasion cabinet problem from Lanny.

I have not tested this though.

As a standard, I tell my installers. No ist cards in the ribbon expansion.

Thanks for the heads up. My feeling is that you are right. The last thing we did was add a new expansion cabinet and an 8 port IST. Their original expansion cabinet was smoked when we used the pre charge port to put in a IST. It brought the cabinet down. Comdial sent a replacement cabinet and a new IST. I will NEVER use the precharge cable again.
