I have set up an Eloquence VE voicemail/auto attendant for an InnTouch System in a small hotel. They have just decided they want the caller to have the option to dial the extension to any room from the auto attendant rather than having to be transferred to the desired extension from the attendant station...I've looked through the manual and can't find out how to do this. Is it possible and I'm just missing it or not understanding the manual correctly?

You have to set the Eloquence to AA rather than VM. Then you have to setup the menu branches. Menu1 Thank You for calling the seedy crack motel. Please enter you parties three digit extension number or dial 5 for the madam, I mean office. Do not use 0. What happens is that when someone calls the wrong number or hangs up on the unit the call will be transferred to the front desk anyway and they will be bothered with "ghost" calls. / Branch 11 ID 9999 Branch 12 ID 9999 / Branch 13 ID 9999
Branch 14 ID 9999 / Branch 15 Dial Branch Ext 100 or 310 whatever you have programmed for port 10 / Branches 16, 17,18,19 should all be to ID 9999 for disconnect. this will save you many problems.
Also, you have to set the reroute, busy, No answer to the appropriate Voice Mail Box.

Reroute No Response should be set to Dial Branch ID 9999

Yo need to enable direct line ringing, ringing line preference and Thru Dial OPX to whatever port the Eloquence sits on; usually 12 and 13

and your done.

It's been many years but I've literally installed hundreds of these in south Florida.
