This pertains to the overall problem of no MW lights on a DX-80 (F39) with a Flash VM in our shop/office.

A few weeks ago I auto-forwarded the 100 (Gen Del) MB to Ext (MB) 101 after 1 hr.
After I did that, we all had no MW lites working.

Today, I decided to undo what I did two weeks ago--and Voila! MW lites are now working.

Just thought I'd throw that out. Should that be happening?? I don't think I've seen or heard of anything saying that you couldn't ACF the 100 MB---but I guess you learn something every day.

your running 33 and I think the back plane MW activation starts with 39. I'd bump it up to 40 or 41.

You were right, I just upgraded the system to F42 and the lamp issue is solved.

Thanks a lot.

After 2 years?

The real fix was to create mailbox #10 and insert the message waiting string into this mailbox on earlier software releases.

Deltron,

I am really sorry to hear this. Unfortunately nobody gave me that hint before and thus we decided to proceed to import the latest firmware (this a system installed in Mexico City).

Hopefully this information will be of help for somebody else.

But I am having some problems after the upgrade, do you think you can help? (the problems are posted here: https://www.sundance-communications.com/forum/ultimatebb.php?/ubb/get_topic/f/2/t/002193/p/1.html)
