Hub has 17B software and node sites have 17A. When and incoming call gets answered at the hub site and then transfered to node site intercom station and does not get picked up, the call does not forward to voice mail. The call gets returned the person that first took the call (receptionist). Is there a way to program the systems to allow the call to ring at the station then forward to voice mail. Keep in mind voice mail is at the hub site.
Thanks for the help.

Make sure that the station is set up to forward to the lead vmail station. If it is, then try setting the transfer recall timer a little higher. it sounds like the call is hitting the recall timer before the forward ring count is hit on the station. another way to test is set the ring count to forward after 1 ring. if it goes then work your way up until it recall back to the tranfering party. then you know what the cut of count is. if it recalls with the ring count set to 3 then you know you have to iether bump the transfer recall timer up or the ring count down below 3. let me know what you find. ------------------ BIGDOG3c PARALLEL TECHNOLOGIES INC. I may be wrong, but part of your problem may be that you do not have the same software level at all sites.

All sites should have the same software level. 17D was pretty stable in networking. 17e 197 is available for upgrade. 17a was pretty early and I know there were several bugs with that release. ------------------ Business Phone Systems

The software rev. is the first thing I thought of, but the networking rev. in these builds of software, I am 99% positive they are the same. Easy way to check, connect with hyperterm and at the input password screen do a control R. this will bring up an info screen. This will tell you what the networking rev is. compare both switches, they should be the same. ------------------ BIGDOG3c PARALLEL TECHNOLOGIES INC. WWW.ABUGSEYEVIEW.COM

Thanks Bigdog setting the recall timer higher worked.
I also checked the network revisions at all sites, although they have different feature sets 17B - 17A they all do have the same Network Rev. of 5.30

Keep in mind that even though the network revisions do match. I would recommend you upgrade them to the same software level. Its nice to know you do not have to do this right away, but I always make sure we go back and upgrade the levels to match hub and node. ------------------ BIGDOG3c PARALLEL TECHNOLOGIES INC.
