Does anyone know if there is a specific format process to format the compact flash cards that the debut uses? Had a good working service unit, one of my techs formatted it and now it won't run for anything. ROM-DOS starts and shows that the COMMAND.COM is missing. I know the unit is good. Does anyone have documentation for how to load/reload the software once the card is operable.

You need something that can make the disk bootable. Like if you use windows 98 to make a boot disk it will put command.coma and I can't remember the other file required.
Nero also has a option to creat a boot disk.
There is a tech tip on Comdial's website for upgrading the flash drive voice mail on a DX80. You should be able to follow the same procedure for a Debut, I think they even use the same flash cards.
Tech Tip VVP000035, it's under the DX80 section.
You will need a usb flash card reader and they use Norton ghost to make the disk bootable and to make an image.
