I'm looking for a cordless headset, maybe bluetooth, for my Comdial DSU II system. The handset is Impact model# 8324SJ-FB.

Any suggestions? Also, can a system be program for some type of "headset mode" where I don't have to pick up the handset to answer a line...just hit the line button?

Great forum...thanks!!!!

Wow...thanks for the fast response.

Can you tell me if my system supports some type of "headset mode" that can be activated at the phone?

Thanks again.

The button will allow you to use the headset without the need to lift the handset. However, if you want to use the handset lifter HL1 or HL10 (so you can answer and hang up the phone while away from you desk), assuming we are still talking about the CS50, you would connect the base in-line with your handset cord, going into the handset jack on the phone, and then NOT use the headset button. Otherwise, if you are not using the lifter, you would want to use the headset button, and plug the headset base/amplifier into the headset jack on the phone.

Plantronics SP-06. They're cheap, they have the RJ-22 connector, and they work with the 8324's HDST port.
