I was looking for help...I normally deal with nortel equipment and was asked to program a comdial dx80 with voicemail..this is all the info I have on the system. i am great with norstar equipment but never touched a comdial.. How do I connect, program and all that good stuff.. I was told the manuals were all there....

Welcome Chris: What exactly do you want to do? The DX80 printed manual is pretty big. How did you inherit this system? There are some really good technicians who can walk you through some of it but we need details.

How do I connect??? Do I need to use laptop with procomm??? Can I program through set????? Are most of the features kind of similar to norstar equipment... Where would I begin to setup voicemail???? Any help is appreciated... I got work through word of mouth...

PC programming thru PCDBA program. Each soft rev has its own program interface. You can program thru a set if you have the manual. Features not even close to Norstar (I sell Norstar also), and voice mail uses it's own proprietary software.
