I need a quick answer and I know I've seen this recently. What is the line you put in on a debut to get the auto attendant to work properly? I know to make all lines ring to the vmail port but I can't remember the line and where to put it to get the system to drop the lines after the first port answers.

Isn't there another setting that talls the system to drop ports after first one answers?

setting all ports at 99 rings to answer is the way Keyvoice came up with to tell the voicemail that there is simultaneous ringing on the ports. Done several DSU's with Keyvoices over the years and that's the only way I know.

Where do I find that line? Ring Reset = 4000, I have a feeling this is going to come up at a law office I worked at last week. Mark

vm.cfg
Along with programming all VM ports to ring (for whatever lines are ringing to VM), and setting VM ports 1-4 (in voicemail) to Rings to Answer = 99, you also need that ring reset = 4000 line in the VM.CFG file.

I don't know it for sure, but it's common enough of a question that it could probably be found in a search, either here or in the Voicemail forum. I'm just guessing though.
