Ok I screwed up I have a DSU II System with impact phones with the lcd display. I called up a ext and no one answered so I hit seen there was a msg listed on the lcd display I hit the button and my speed dial button started to flash and there message light comes on. I thought cool. How ever now I talked to the person and every time they go to check there messages it calls me. Please make it stop I went into there voice mail and I don't see how to stop this and I don't see a way to get it to stop on my end. I looked into the program manual and a user manual but couldn't find it. You guys have always come thought for me, and thanks for all your help.

In the user guide,

to turn off a message waiting light at a busy or idle station,
press ITCM
dial #3
dial extension number of station that was alerted.

To turn off MW during message delivering conversation, press ITCM once if off hook, twice if on hook.
If you need a user guide let me know and I can pdf one to you by email.

I used that programming code recently on our Operator's phone because she had an erroneous blinking light. Now, none of the extensions get a blinking light when they have voice mail messages waiting. Any advice???

using that feature code cannot affect your voicemail system's ability to light MW lights.

Please complete your profile so we know what level of technical ability you have. The easy place to begin is just doing a reset on the VM & telephone system.
