hello,
I looked at the other post about this and it did not work for me-here is what i have.
several phones in the office have a blinking hold light on them-when i press the button it goes to voice mail.i tried the fix in the other post-i/c #3 and extension and it does not clear the problem.i have also restarted the system and that did not work either.any help would be great.

This is a silly question, but do you have voice mail waiting for you to pick up on the phones with the blinking lights?
More information is needed, what phone system do you have, what voice mail system, etc.
You also might want to fill your profile out in more detail so a support tech could be recommended in your area if necessary.

Yes, definitely sounds like your VM is setting the msg waiting/hold light. Like schup said, make sure there are no new messages in the mailbox associated with that station. If there are none, try rebooting your VM. Failing that, delete and re-create the mailbox.

thanks for the reply-this is happening on several phones and they do not have new or old msgs.We are currently backing up the vm so we can reboot.
