customer wants me to install a used isdn modem (netgear). Has documentation but no install CD. I've never done an isdn. Should there be dial tone or data noise on the line. The green isdn light never stops flashing. I'm assuming that means there is a telco problem. Flashing green is not even listed in the trouble shooting guide. I'm thinking I should just tell the guy to get a new isdn modem

they aren't plug and play. you will have to enter programming and put in the spids and other info. i would get on to netgears site and get all the info off their site. they will have an install manual on their

Better find out if the ISDN connection is an S type or U first.
