Martin:

Are the associated mailboxes set for supervised transfer?

Have you tried to set the mailboxes for supervised transfer (can it even be done on the DX-80)? I think it will work if you can do that since the caller won't ever leave the system - it will just keep the caller holding until the cell phone user answers and accepts the call. If they don't, it times out and routes the caller to the mailbox. At least that's how most systems that offer supervised transfer capabilities. Sorry, but I am not strong on the DX-80.

Well---here's what I do. It doesn't have anything to do with the VM.
1. Program each digital set (the ones that are associated with the people with cell phones) for External Call Forward.
2. Call forward each digital phone to the appropriate cell phone--Feature 2.
3. If you want your receptionists to have quick access to those cell phones--put the cell phone numbers in system speed dial bins--then put the bins on a Feature Key--but that really is not necessary for these transfers.
4. That should be it---but realize that you will be using TWO lines for those calls---the one line coming in and the one that the system uses to go to the cell phone.
5. I do this as an "after hours" sort of thing--but during the day, I try to get my customers to use a Centrex transfer--but that's just me. Good Luck.

In voicemail you have message notifacation, if a message is left in a mailbox with notifacation activated the VM will call the programmed number and tell you there's a message then you can put in your password to hear it.

If they have 3 way calling on their lines go into the vmail and set the initiate a transfer parameters to !#3,,9,T Then in the transfer to field of the mailbox put the cell # in. Ensure the mailbox is set to blind.
