I do realize that this is not considered a premium unit, but, I have acquired an inexpensive comdial eloquence ve 130 to go with the pre-existing N0616 I have. I do not have a user guide so I am not sure how to access my saved voicemails. Could some one tell me the process to follow so that I can use the system. I installed it using the installation manual and so far things appear to be working okay. Sure appreciate the help.
Thanks!

Call the first port of voicemail, enter your password (default will be your ext. number) then follow the prompts.

I had setup mailboxes manually. When I enter my extension number eloquence directs me to my mailbox voicemail greeting. Reentry of the default password causes the system to hang up, it also does so if I press 0 to go to the main menu. I am going to go through setup again and see if anything changes.
Thanks

Don't you have to hit either * or # before entering the box number to get the system's attention? Think it was the * key, then the box number to get to the messages. Been quite a while since I had one of these, though.

Thanks!!! The * key was just the ticket. Would you happen to remember any of the other available prompts as I can't seem to find a user guide anywhere. The system is working okay so far. Found a LOT of good info via this group.

Everyone,
Thanks for the help on this, I will probably pester you again when I have another question. I played around on the eloquence system and came up with this "user guide".

Using Comdial Voicemail.

You can access voice mail from anywhere. Here are the steps.

From outside, dial in, when the eloquence answers dial * and your mailbox number.
From inside, dial eloquence's extension, when eloquence answers dial * and your mailbox number.

Messages will be played newest first.

To set a new password (default is your mailbox number)
During message playback press 5
Hear "enter function"
Press 4
Enter new password (1-4 digits)
Press 7 to confirm correct password
If correct hangup or press 4 to try again

During message playback:
1 -- pauses message
2 -- date and time of message
4 -- rewind message
6 -- forward message to another mailbox
7 -- delete message
8 -- jump back to mailbox intro
9 -- save message

Does that seem okay?
