I am onsite at a hotel that has the room phones that autologon to voicemail when they call it.
They had a dead station, so I moved it to another port, now this new port will not auto logon. I monitored the station, and when it calls voicemail it will not outpulse the dtmf s for that station. All other room stations will outpulse these digits. I figure it has to be pbx programming. I copied settings from working phone to the new one but it still does'nt work. I cannot find anything different in the programming between the new station and the old one. I reset the system and I also renamed and renumbered the station so that it = what the defective station is. Nothing works......Anybody have any ideas?

Is this a Comdial Concierge? If it is you can't just change a port in the DXP-plus.

It is hooked to a Concierge.
I didn't bother checking the Concierge programming because I didn't think that it would be related to the problem with the new station signalling to VoiceMail.
What should I check in the Concierge Programming?
THanks

Then it is a Concierge. The concierge is in control not the DXP. PM sent

Uh oh. Ed better give over the soapbox. I have a feeling Larry is going to need to borrow it.

MY soap box is hibernating since it's below freeing here tonight. Larry will have to find his own until spring.

Don't get me started about the concierge, it was my product along with the Comdial E-911 system. These were both great products but a change in upper management decided against vertical market products. That's the short version and all I will say in public. As far as development on the concierge it was a quick replacement for a little known product called the DXP Inntouch . It was developed on the fly. Another engineer ( Mike Fabrizio) at Comdial wrote all the code while I was in the field testing and giving him a list of requirements needed. He would send me new executables to test while I was on site. We made a great team and we listened to the customer as we developed the product. That is why is was great. I still support this product!
