I am tyring to learn how to make changes to my Comdial Dx-80 telephone system. I have a basic DX-80 with 3 lines, 2 of which have caller id. First, with the basic 7260-00 speakerphone, should I be able to see the caller id on ALL 8 digital ports? Should I also be able to see caller id on the analog ports with the proper phone? Is it possible to program which ports will see the caller id info and which ports will not? What programming controls this? Thanks for the help on this.

You will only see CID on the phones that are programmed to ring on the CID enabled line. No ring, no ID. Analog sets included. Mark

Thanks for the info. I'll check that. But I should be able to see it on any phone programmed to ring - the 8 digital ports and 4 analog ports?
