The commitment is that you be certified...not the amount of sales you do. ESI is a pretty slick system if you need ease of use and damn kick butt voicemail. Depends on your market is all I will say. I know for a fact we are about to cut off the small end again as it not worth it for our company. Too cut throat for people that simply want dial tone, shop on ebay for parts, and generally are asses compared to out larger customers. IE they want to pay nothing and get a mercedes when the bought a 10 year old Yugo. To each their own, we have done well in the small market but, to be honest I don't see the motive to stay in it as it takes 90% of my time and generates 10% revenue.

You should always have a demo system for the product your sell..if not for selling at least for spare parts if need be. Once again you have to know what market you are going to compete in. We are getting out of the low end small stuff after playing for a few years. For us it's not worth it.

Jonathon, there are many companies that make such a device. It simply an ip fxo/fxs. Usually cheaper and better to simply get an OPX if it relatively close. I have IP analog extenders out there as well for the people that need it.
